My Story

In November of 2020 I was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma a rare and incurable blood cancer. For the next four months I underwent many rounds of chemotherapy. On April 4th of 2021 I was admitted to Froedtert & Medical college of Wisconsin’s Center for Advanced Care where I would spend the next 22 days undergoing a bone marrow transplant. My journey since then has been a long road to recovery and discovery. The journey of recovery has given me the opportunity to be in full remission. The journey of discovery has given me the opportunity to start this nonprofit and with your help pay it forward and make a difference.

*This picture of me was taken on April 7th of 2021 at 1:57 pm. I’m receiving my stem cells back that I donated 3 weeks earlier. This is the most important gift I have ever given to myself. They call this your birthday because it signifies a new beginning and a second chance at life.
